FAA Awards Gallium Follow-on Contract
InterMAPhics® software selected to expand the display capabilities for the FAA's enroute simulator used for Human Factors testing

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - October 24, 2000 - ATCA 2000 - Gallium, a leading provider of user interface software for performance-critical applications, is pleased to announce that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a follow-on contract based at the FAA Civil Aeromedical Institute (CAMI), Oklahoma City. Gallium previously replicated the Display System Replacement (DSR) Computer-Human Interface (CHI) using its InterMAPhics software toolkit. During the next phase of the program, Gallium will deliver both engineering services and a flight strip editor expanding the capabilities of the FAA's Advanced ATC Research Simulator used by Human Factors scientists for evaluating the enroute CHI.
