Gallium Visual Systems Inc. Appoints Director Southeastern US Region
OTTAWA, CANADA, September 26, 2006, -- Gallium Visual Systems Inc., the leading provider of Human Systems Interface software for performance-critical applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ancil Hicks as Director Southeastern US Region.
Retired from the US Army as Chief, Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, Mr. Hicks comes to Gallium from related senior management positions with Scientific Research Corporation and General Dynamics where he was directly responsible for business development and program management associated with the Warfighter Information Networking.
Before beginning his career in the technology industry, Mr. Hicks completed his education in MS, Systems Management at the University of Southern California. He has also completed his BS, Business and Management degree at the University of South Alabama.
Ancil is a member of the U.S. Signal Corp Regiment and sits on the Board of Director for the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Redstone-Huntsville Chapter. He is also affiliated with the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA).
Mr. Hicks will be located in our Huntsville, Alabama office in association with Mr. Bob Wilkie, long-term Business Development Consultant for Gallium who will be continuing in his business development role.
