InterMAPhics 7.3.0
- Releases for Windows, Solaris, Linux. Java versions using JDK 1.6
- Military Symbology Support including support of MIL-STD-2525B Symbology - Full support of Appendixes A, B, D & E. Most of Appendix C symbology is found in the other appendices and can be displayed using the corresponding SIDC code.
- JPEG2000 Support - Native rendering of JPEG2000 image data into an optimized archive layer or viewport
- MrSID Support - Native support of MrSID files at user selected area and zoom and levels
- Expanded ESRI Support - Ability to display DoD UTM encoded shapefile data. Support added to use the database information as vector attribute information to support extraction themes.
- Enhanced Vector Map Appearance - Support added to display complex lines, areas and symbols which represent common map locations such as airports, cities, various road classifications, road markers, geographical areas using easily recognized attributes.
- Improved Raster Appearance - Improved the control over raster map color selection to control the number of colors used to display raster images
- Improved Support for NITF and NSIF - Added the ability to render JPEG compressed image segments and the ability to access text information stored in text segments
- Runtime optimized imagery - Pre-processing of TIFF, GeoTIFF and JPEG2000 images will create optimized map sources allowing for better performance while panning and zooming.
- Release for Linux. Java versions using JDK 1.5
- 57 Mapformat with S52 presentation support - The support for S52 presentation has been implemented as of this release. The S52 presentation will be applied by default to all S57 maps extracted via InterMAPhics Mapping library or via InterGEO Designer.
- Viewport 3D shared memory in Linux and Solaris This allows the user to specify the use of shared memory within the 3D viewport for Solaris and Linux, which can accelerate performance significantly when the application is run locally.
